Together Everyone Achieves More

5th Sunday Team

Because we love our city, we schedule projects for our 5th Sunday Service Days for volunteers and community members to do service projects. Our projects include painting inside walls or decks/fences, trash pickup, surveys, putting together food packages, clothes give away, minor repairs, grass cutting, and more. Teams normally start around 10AM and we work until about 1PM.

Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Relationship Builders

Connecting Team

The Connecting Team goes out once or twice a month to sign up community members to be part of this mission/movement.  We do this by through Relationship Building Walks, door to door, or Relationship Building Events. We follow a general script letting people know who we are and how we are trying to help. So far, approximately 80% of the people we have spoken with was open to being a part of this mission/movement.

Building Team

The names and information of the community members that sign up with the Connecting Team will be given to The Building Team Members so that they can occasionally call to do check-ins. These check-ins will help them to establish relationships with those community members. Each Building Team Member will be given only the amount of people they feel comfortable with having on their team.

Resource Team

When the Building Team Members has people that need resources, they send that information over to the Resource Team to pick it up from their. The Resource Team has a list of places and referrals for need that may exist such as depression, anxiety, bullying, etc.  Here's where the rubber meets the road and we know that when those tires hit the road, the car can go out of control. We want to be there to help make sure those tires don't go out of control. We want to be there give them resources to reduce that anxiety which too often causes things to happen that which causes someone life to crash and burn. This could literally mean the difference between life and death.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”  1 Peter 4:10
